What is Kognix?
Kognix is an online learning platform that uses a hybrid learning model. We combines live, small-group tuition with AI-powered support. Students benefit from expert-led teaching and personalised learning through Century Tech.
How is Kognix different from other tutoring platforms?
We combine expert-led, small-group live sessions with AI-powered learning tools that adapt to each student’s needs. Our live classes are tailored to exam formats, teaching students how to think strategically, manage time, and score more marks.
What is a “hybrid learning” model?
Students learn in real-time with experienced tutors and receive AI-powered support between sessions to reinforce and personalise their learning.
Who founded Kognix?
Kognix was founded by experienced educators and technologists to bring engaging, future-ready learning to students everywhere.

What subjects do you offer?
We currently offer GCSE Maths, with English, Sciences, and other subjects launching soon.
What year groups is Kognix for?
Kognix supports Years 9 to 11 (ages 13–16), helping students prepare for GCSE exams.
How many students are in each class?
Each live class is limited to 8 students, ensuring plenty of attention and support.
Is your content aligned to the UK curriculum?
Yes — all our lessons follow the UK national curriculum. We go further by teaching students how to apply their knowledge in exams, focusing on mark schemes, exam timing, and effective problem-solving techniques.
What makes your teaching approach effective for exams?
Every Kognix class is designed around exam success. We teach students how to interpret questions, avoid common mistakes, and structure answers for maximum marks. Combined with regular quizzes and practice, it’s a highly exam-aware approach.
Do you offer one-to-one tuition?
Yes, we do offer one-to-one sessions on request — but we don’t usually recommend it. In our experience, students actually perform just as well — if not better — in our small-group classes. Why?
Because with Kognix small groups (max 8 students), you still get:

- Active participation without feeling singled out
- Motivation from peer learning and shared goals

What is Century?
Century is an award-winning AI learning platform that provides personalised revision, practice, and feedback based on each student’s performance.
How does the AI-powered support work?
Century tracks student progress and automatically adjusts their learning journey to focus on what they need most.
Is Century included in every plan?
Century access is included in the Thrive Plan. It includes student dashboards, personalised support, and parent tracking.
Do I need to install anything?
No — Kognix and Century Tech are browser-based. Students just need a laptop, tablet, or desktop and an internet connection.

How much does Kognix cost?
⦁ Think Plan: £15 per session
⦁ Thrive Plan: £20 per session (includes Century Tech, extra tutor access, and more)
What’s the difference between Think and Thrive plans?
The Thrive Plan includes access to Century Tech, parent dashboards, outside-class support, and detailed updates.
How does payment work?
Payment is taken up front for each month, giving you full access to your child’s scheduled sessions. There are no long-term contracts or obligations — you’re free to continue month by month, based on your needs and satisfaction.
📈 Progress & Feedback
How will I track my child’s progress?
We provide monthly progress reports. Thrive Plan users also receive access to a live dashboard and WhatsApp/email updates.
Can I view my child’s progress in Century?
Yes — Thrive Plan parents receive dashboard access to monitor engagement and performance.
Will my child receive feedback outside of class?
Students on the Thrive Plan can message tutors for help between sessions.

Can I try Kognix before signing up?
Yes — book a free trial directly on our website. No payment or commitment is required.
What happens after I book the trial?
We’ll confirm your session and send joining details. Your child can experience a full lesson before deciding to enrol.
Do I need to commit after the trial?
No. The trial is obligation-free. You decide what’s right after experiencing the platform.
